About the zukan
A 'zukan' is a Japanese illustrated encyclopedia. Washoku Zukan gathers the ingredients of Japanese cuisine with their names, origins, seasons, dishes and nutritional makeup, like an illustrated book.

Nutrition values are taken unchanged from MEXT's 'Standard Tables of Food Composition in Japan (8th ed., 2023 supplement)': values per 100 g edible portion for the matching food number.
Map
The map is simplified from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan's 'Global Map Japan' data.
3D models
The 3D models use no external files: every shape and colour is generated in code, favouring the unity of a zukan's plates over photorealism.
